Beige and white for spring

// by

Clean, casual and smart. The spring runways and current fashion magazines are telling us to wear nothing but beige this season. Luckily I’m really into monochromatic looks and love wearing neutral colors. Instead of choosing different shades of beige from head-to-toe, you can perfectly pair the light color with other neutrals, such as white. Check out the blogpost to see the look I have created with my new beige trench coat. I will never get tired of a classic Burberry trench.

shop my look:

trench coat – Burberry
dress – Sportmax
bag – Fendi
heels – Miu Miu

The Burberry trench

The main actor and highlight in today’s outfit is this amazing Burberry trench coat. I have already written several blogposts about my favorite Burberry pieces. However, this trench coat is next level and will be my faithful companion for spring.

I love how Burberry always combines truly British heritage with current design must-haves. The perfect balance between classic aesthetics and urban coolness. Each season Burberry manages to surprise me with an update on its timeless outwear. This trench coat was love at first sight. It has a stylish vintage appearance, a regular fit and the perfect midi length. The coat is cut from panels of Burberry’s signature gabardine and vintage check. The whole design is exciting and new. However, the classic pointed collar underlines its timeless appearance.

My look in details

I decided to keep my look as clean and monochromatic as possible. I wanted to create an elegant and sophisticated look for the first days of spring. Even though we are still in late February, heaven must have got the message of my previous post and kindly send us loads of sunshine and mild temperatures.

I’m wearing this beautiful white Sportmax dress. It is made of a flexible knit and is shaped to fit like a second skin. It moves with the body and creates a very feminine silhouette. Sporty stripes and an athletic style collar give the piece a dynamic attitude whereas the high side slits underline its elegant appearance. Elegant dress meets performance wear.

I love the way the beige color of the trench and the white dress create a fresh and harmonious picture. I decided to go for white boots to pick up the color of the dress again and round of my monochromatic look. White booties have already been a major trend last season, but they are here to stay. If you haven’t invested into a pair yet, hurry up girls. These Miu Miu booties are beyond comfortable and perfect to wear from day to night.

The Fendi baguette

It’s not a bag, it’s a Baguette!“ The iconic baguette shaped handbags are celebrating a huge comeback this season. They are a homage to the designs from the late 90’s. I already showed you the short-strap PRADA Sidonie bag here. For today’s outfit I decided to add some extra sparkle. While I have kept my outfit quite simple, I really wanted to splash out with my bag. This multicolor fabric bag isn’t just a bag, it’s a piece of art. It’s the Fendi baguette bag in a medium size. It can be carried by hand or worn cross-body with a cool shoulder strap. The bag is made of the signature FF jacquard fabric and is opulently decorated with beautiful embroidery and colorful sequins. The perfect eye-catcher.
