One of my favorite pieces I wore for Copenhagen Fashion Week is this super special Burberry shirt dress I recently found at Stylebop.

Burberry truly is the British heritage label and worldwide known for its timeless outwear. The classic trench coat and the typical check print are the brand’s trademarks. Over the past couple of years however Burberry has realized a modern update on the iconic check pattern. With its new interpretation the brand achieves the perfect balance between conservative aesthetics and urban coolness.

Meet Brooke– the perfect shirt dress in a classic camel. I spotted it online at Stylebop a couple of weeks ago and immediately fell in love with it. It is the perfect statement piece. You don’t need to add much more to create an interesting look. The dress speaks for itself. It is made of pure cotton and comes along with the brand’s signature check print. The classic pattern underlines its subtile and classic appearance, whereas the orange piping upgrades the whole look and adds a pop of playful color. It is the ideal dress to create a smart yet comfortable look. The tie belt adds an extra bit of femininity and creates a flattering silhouette.

Instead of wearing Brooke as a dress, I decided to go for a pair of light blue skinny jeans and wear it as a blouse instead. Black always serves as a great contrast. I’m wearing a super cozy faux fur jacket and my favorite Jimmy Choo over knee boots , I already wore in a previous post here. I’m totally obsessed with the Louis Vuitton Petit Mall bag. It is the most perfect eye-catcher I can think of. What do you guys think, doesn’t it match the dress perfectly?
