The Palm Angels sweatshirt

// by

I love a good pair of perfect-fitting, comfortable jeans and I always like to wear a cozy sweatshirt. Pairing both, sweatshirt and jeans, is my favorite go-to casual outfit. Perfect for relaxed weekends, when you want to look unfussy yet stylish and cool.

shop my look:

sweatshirt – Palm Angels
jeans – Citizens of Humanity
flats- Chanel
bag – Hermès

Never underestimate a good fitted pair of jeans and a casual hoodie. Because sometimes less is definitely more and sweatshirts have surely evolved into a versatile wardrobe necessity. There is a classy element to basic sweatshirts that is often underestimated.

Palm Angels

The Palm Angels journey originally started as a coffee table book of black and white photography, shot by photographer and designer Francesco Ragazzi, documenting architecture and portraits of the LA skate scene. In 2015 Francesco Ragazzi designed his first ready-to-wear collection for Fall/Winter. Palm Angels combines Italian craftsmanship with the casual flair of California. Francesco Ragazzi celebrates the relaxed yet characteristic skateboard scene in LA, without loosing his Italian roots. His collections are very youthful and extremely versatile. Skate-inspired apparel for both, men and women. Casual tees, hoodies and sweatshirts are always the key-pieces of the collections.

My look in details

The main actor in today’s outfit is this black Palm Angels cotton hoodie. It is beyond comfortable and extremely cool. It has a cropped fit, a big hood and striking pink drawstring tie fastenings. The branded elastic waistband and the printed logo on the chest are nice eye-catcher and add a cool street style attitude to the look.

Denim is always a good idea. I opted for this light blue pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans. I love the classic style and the boot cut leg. Whenever I wear boot cut jeans, I instantly go for heels instead of flats.But this time I decided to go with my Chanel flats. These have turned into my daily companion. Of course you can never go wrong with white heels for spring. I like to look put-together and stylish but without too much fuss.

My Hermès Kelly bag is one of my favorite wardrobe staples. It is classic and always elegant. I love to pair a sporty sweatshirt with timeless pieces. It creates a nice and interesting contrast.
