The last years track pants have devolved from fashion faux pas to an unavoidable must-have. Nevertheless are track pants still significantly undervalued. For the perfect look you combine statement pants with classic and timeless pieces. It’s all about finding the perfect balance between athletic and chic. Track pants are great allrounders and can easily be dressed up and down. They are an outstanding piece for any kind of outfit and always set a statement. Normally I like to style my track pants very sporty. Today however, I decided to pair them with a fancy blazer instead.
The Palm Angels track pants
The key piece in today’s outfit are these perfect black after sport pants. They are made of a relaxed-fit technical satin and have a mid-rise. The lightweight material is beyond comfortable. The pants feature a logo jacquard elasticated waistband, drawstring hems and big side pockets. I like the way the Palm Angels logo is printed on the waistband. A nice eye-catcher that creates a cool street style attitude. I love their casual and sporty manner, making me think of American style and street culture.

Track pants can easily be styled for everyday occasions. All you need to do is use them as your key- and statement piece and work with classic pieces to complement your look. Nothing screams more business than a timeless black blazer. Blouses, shirts and blazers are perfect for adding an elegant touch to the trendy pants.
I decided to go for an all-black look. The success of an all-black outfit always lies in the details. Shades and materials play an important role. I always try to find fabric contrasts and like to concentrate on an interesting silhouette. I recently found this black blazer at Zara. It has an oversized fit, long sleeves, a medium length and classic collar. I love the way it instantly upgrades the casual track pants and adds a chic business attitude to my look. Im trying to keep things simple by wearing a black Adidas cropped top. It picks up the sporty style again and flatters my silhouette. My strappy Gianvito Rossi heels round off my look and add some sparkle and femininity to my outfit.
