I am such a watch person, I am addicted to all kind of watches and especially love vintage ones. When I got the request to be part of the new Panthère de Cartier campaign. This is truly one of the most exciting projects I am working on since I am a blogger and I am super curious about your feedback.
The famous Panthère de Cartier first launched in 1983, is a timeless must-have piece and never out of style. A timeless, elegant icon is back – in the good old days the Panthère watch was worn by idols like Grace Jones, Madonna and Jane Fonda. I think there is no piece at this time standing for Cartier as much as this jewelry watch. Back then the watch was a symbol of empowered, strong and self-confident women and I am more than happy to be part of this comeback. Further more „it is a true style icon for women who wish never to go unnoticed.“
The Panthère de Cartier watch is available in two sizes – it has the same design than back in the 80´s. I am wearing the small version in 18k pink gold. First of all it was a little unfamiliar feeling, as my watch is bigger and more heavy. In combination with my other jewelry it felt more like wearing another jewel than an actual watch. We shot the pictures in Berlin at the Soho House hotel, I think this is a great location for this campaign. What do you think?
