Versace denim shorts

// by

Denim shorts are my favorite go-to style. Sometimes however, I need to find new and exciting ways of wearing them. Because no one wants to wear the same style day after day.

The Versace shorts

No one does opulent Italien fashion quite like Versace. Lately Versace has been paying tribute to the brand’s original sensuality. I really love their iconic and outstanding designs and therefore opted for a pair of vintage inspired white denim shorts. These shorts take you back to the 90s and are reminiscent of old Versace designs. As we all know, the 90s have been back for a while now and it feels, as though we’ve currently reached their nostalgia peek. I always try to find new and exciting ways to mix the current retro trend with my modern and basic wardrobe.

These Versace shorts are an exclusive high-fashion take on a casual cool classic. I really love their outstanding design, their flattering high waist and frayed hem. They have so many extravagant details. The contrasting stitching and golden buttons are only a few to mention. The big logo print screams Versace more than ever and is the perfect eye-catcher.

My look in details

I was trying to find a way of wearing shorts, yet looking elegant and sophisticated. An outfit to wear off-duty as well as out for work. A blazer is always a good idea. It instantly adds polish to the shorts and elevates the whole look. I decided to wear my Theory linen blazer again. It comes along in a bright fuchsia with a double-breasted front, a classic collar and a slightly elongated silhouette. The longer fit is perfect when you want to wear shorts without dressing revealingly. I’m keeping my look simple and basic yet colorful. The bright fuchsia sets a bold accent without looking over the top.

Tying a shirt around your waist is a nice accessory to add to your outfit. It instantly adds a laid back off-duty style to your outfit. I love to play with contrasts. Nothing screams more 90s than a sweatshirt around the waist.

I’m keeping the rest of my look easy and simple. A white tee and my favorite Miu Miu heels, is all I need to complete the look.
