My Fall/ Winter Must-Have: Balenciaga Oversized Shirt

// by

The ultimate must-have piece for the upcoming season is this Balenciaga oversized shirt. I was badly looking for checked shirt with a boyfriend fit, it utterly gives your whole outfit a very undressed and easy look. Then there was my boyfriend, who got one by Balenciaga in Rome…

shop my look:

oversized shirt – Balenciaga
denim skirt – Urban Outfitters
boots – Dior (similar here)
bag – Chloé (similar here)
sun glasses – Prada

The Hunt is Over

I swear I tried over one thousand plaid shirts, from current collections to vintage ones – but I always had one problem as I wanted it to fit oversized. I am very skinny therefore it´s a tender point between wearing something oversized to wearing something which fits to big. The oversize fit is the unique cut, that gives you everything – the cozy, cool and urban look – but when it´s to big, the whole look is ridiculous. But now, as the hunt is over, I am super inspired to style this Balenciaga oversized shirt. I already styled this shirt here, but as a skirt and got lots of messages from you.

Today´s Look – Balenciaga Oversized Shirt

But back to today´s outfit: I am wearing this blueish Balenciaga oversized shirt together with a denim skirt by Urban Outfitters. I decided to button it down a little bit and add a sports bra underneath. It´s the mix of wearing something oversized with a fitted and wear female skirt and bra. I really loves this combo! As you  can see I stacked one part of the shirt under the skirt, therefore I decided to wear this leather belt bag by Chloé on this part. Then I added my Dior boots and Prada sunglasses.
