Between Seasons

// by

Although we are already in late September, summer seams to be here to stay or at least appear again and again. The last weeks it was still very hot during daytime. We were still reaching temperatures well over 20 degrees.Dressing for me is super easy when I know exactly which season I’m in. It’s the days of transition that can cause quite an issue. Chilly temperatures in the morning, rain for lunch and an unexpected heatwave in the afternoon. Finding the right outfit can be very tricky. Check out today’s blogpost to see my look for between seasons.

Summer essentials meet autumn must-haves

The solution for a perfect between seasons look is simple: mix your favorite summer essentials with autumn’s new must-haves and try to go for different layers.

I love cashmere. It is the most coziest material to wear in autumn and winter. But it’s not just a staple for my winter wardrobe. Cashmere is extremely versatile and can easily be worn in warmer weather. It is ideal to keep you comfortable and warm but also to balance out warmer temperatures throughout the day.

The Max Mara coat

I decided to go for a comfortable, yet smart look. Today’s main actor is this beautiful Max Mara coat. I really love the slightly oversized fit and the casual round neck. The coat is made of a luxury wool and cashmere blend. It has kimono sleeves and practical side pockets. Since temperatures were quite high that day, I decided to wear my coat open. It comes along with a matching belt. You can close a small button on the collar for a super clean and straight look.

My look in details

Max Mara is known for its rather conservative and classic Italien designs. As I am huge supporter of clashing styles, I decided to pair my new coat with a sporty top and sneakers. Crop tops are always amazing with skinny jeans. They add a laid-back attitude to any kind of outfit.

Zebra, leopard and snake pattern. Animal prints are a major must-have for fall. I decided to keep things rather simple and went for a classic Tod’s snake print bag. It it such a cool statement piece. I like the way it completes my outfit yet doesn’t steel the coat’s show. And the most important thing: My total look works just as good with and without the jacket. Perfect for between seasons.
